2020 week 45
During the update of the monthly results for November 2020, it appeared that the Monethera website was taken down after 8 months with a 403 report. For me, this is the real end of the third platform in 2020 and an additional loss of €1.075 this year. I consider the chance that I will see a cent of this back zero. After eliminating the losses of Envestio and Kuetzal to under €1.000 euros, the counter now stands at a loss of almost €2.000 euros.
An investment in stocks during this period could of course have produced the same result, but for different reasons. The chance of fraud is much smaller. About the other platform (Grupeer) is still no progress to report, except the occasional update with many excuses and causes, especially beyond Grupeer’s fault, they say, but few believe. The P2P trip had already become an expedition, but if Grupeer also falls over, I will certainly foresee red numbers for the next 3 years. Fortunately, the P2P adventure is only a small part of building my capital, the losses have been more than compensated for in recent months by the gains on the gold and silver miners. however, it remains sour to fall victim to fraud for the 3rd time this year. Spreading risks over as many platforms as possible certainly has a downside.
€1.058 was deducted from my total return this week. Returns are still unstable. My total loss is now €1.927.
No deposits this week and no withdrawals.
Due to the COVID-19 situation I will release some funds within the P2P platforms in next couple of months. This is the first major stress test for most platforms and underlying lenders and time will tell how they get through these tough times.
Invested €100 on a Crowdestate project this week and €100 on a Evoestate project.
Highest return this week was Robocash due to finishing a project with a profit.
