2020 week 16
Welcome to my weekly update.
As of week 12 I ‘m including a weekly COVID-19 statistics section (see below). Comparing the number of infections, number of recovered and number of deaths, by country and date might give some perspective on how long this pandemic will last and, besides the terrible human suffering, what impact this will have on the economy, the financial system, the stock markets and eventually the P2P market.
P2P Results
€100,51 was added to my total return this week, higher then the last two weeks, mainly due to Mintos paying late loans interest. This brings my total loss down to €2.139. My financial software (Microsoft Money Sunset de Luxe) has some issues with the recent steep drop op the Russian Ruble against the Euro. The weekly result report shows a different outcome then the monthly result report, I have to fix that before the next monthly report.
This week another update from Grupeer stating thate they extended the loan repayment periods for 60 (sixty) calendar days. So still no solution for their problems
No deposits this week. Reduced some of the auto invest portfolio sizes last week and took out €1.000 from Mintos, €1.204 from Peerberry and €500 from Swaper. The money was deposited within a couple of days. Due to the COVID-19 situation I will release some more funds within the P2P platforms in next couple of weeks. This is the first major stress test for most platforms and underlying lenders and time will tell how they get through these tough times. Besides I’m investing in Gold & Silver mines during every dip so I need some more funds.
Invested €150 on three projects on EstateGuru as some of their projects were finished successfully.
Highest returns this week for Mintos (they paid out some late loans) and Crowdrealestate (their monthly payment came trough).

COVID-19 Update: 2020 week 16
Weekly COVID-19 update.
Comparing the number of infections, number of recovered and number of deaths, by country and date might give some perspective on how long this pandemic will last and besides the terrible human suffering what impact this will have on the economy, the financial system, the stock markets and eventually the P2P market.
There is a slight discrepancy between the World Health Organization map and the graph. This is due to the fact that the data does not run entirely in sync.
The numbers are still rising unfortunately but in some countries they are stabilizing. The number of infected persons in the USA flattened a bit this week. Total number of infected people are now more then 750.000. Spain, Italy, France, Germany and the UK have the highest numbers after the USA. The number of infected people in the UK are now higher then China.
