Today I received an e-mail from Crowdestate about about Covid-19 and the current situation in Italy.
E-mail from Crowdestate
Following the measures ordered by the Italian Government to contain the health emergency caused by the spread of Covid-19, it seems right to us to take stock of the situation and explain in what direction our next steps will move.
In particular, in Italy the “DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS 8 March 2020” has been issued (OJ General Series n.59 of 08-03-2020) which provides for urgent measures to counter and contain the spread of the contagion and enable the health system to manage the epidemic. To this end, gatherings, public recreational and recreational activities and, in general, everything considered superfluous have been banned; however, for the time being, work activities are proceeding, even if with the request to encourage, where possible, business continuity through work from home.
Our Italian team, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Government, is carrying out its activities in smart working without affecting the continuity of the business in order to help contain the spread of contagion.
As far as the Sponsor companies and the projects themselves financed through our platform are concerned, we can confirm that they are progressing without slowing down; in fact, we have confirmation from the Sponsor companies that the work is proceeding as planned:
“Our work is progressing. The construction companies working for us are progressing and the construction sites are open, in accordance with the rules. From the point of view of the progress of work at the moment we do not discount delays. As far as sales are concerned, we note a drop in visits but no slowdown in sales, which continue over the very last few days”.
“WeProperty” Sponsor Company
As this is a temporary situation, we have every reason to trust that it will not have a negative impact on the investment opportunities promoted, which are aimed at long-term objectives. For this reason, we continue to support and promote the business of the Sponsor companies with whom we work and the interests of all our investors.
We are confident that if everyone in his or her own small way is
committed to complying with the prohibitions and recommendations, the situation
will return to normal as soon as possible.
Best regards,
